The Mask
All HBP students must do their own mask by using mache paper. I have done my mask with my friends - Shuin Cheng and Bee Kee. After we were told to do a mask , we went to buy the Tepung Ubi Kayu at Majujaya. We bought that flour to make starch for our mask.
We have done about seventeen layers for the mask. First layer we put facial cotton , after that we put two layers of tissue papers. We continued the layers by using newspaper. We have put ten layers of newspaper and five layers of A4 papers in total. We have to wait for the mask to dry up. It took 1 day to be fully dried up.
Besides that, we also need to draw the mask according our own face. We were asked to use poster colour to paint the mask. The mask colour must exactly the same as our real skin colour. It was really difficult for me to get the skin colour. Unfortunately, the mask colour became yellow. All my friends laughed at me for the whole day long.
